I was recently asked to take photographs for an accountancy firm website. They wanted headshots and office images for their new website. Instead of using stock photos, they chose to feature real employees. This choice reflects their commitment to authenticity. It shows clients and potential hires the real faces behind the business.

We were asked to capture conference photography and videography for the HBA European Leadership Summit. This two-day event took place at The Dublin Royal Convention Centre. The environment was buzzing with ideas and discussions.

The photography brief for this event was very simple. In fact I am not sure if there even was one! The client was just happy for me to mingle and capture the event from my perspective. So I tried to capture it in a way that that I thought the people attending would feel comfortable and to make sure to get plenty of branding in the photographs. Some you might know that I am a huge Leinster fan but it seems the best speaker at corporate events is a former Munster player.

We want to get headshots done for our team, for our website. We want to update this totally, the style we are looking for is something really professional, with a consistent look and feel. We’d like the photos taken outside to give it both a professional but also a fun and modern feel. We are based on Grand Canal Quay, and would like to have some of that background in the photos. In addition to individual head shots we would like a couple of team photos

At Roger Kenny Photography I have been working with actors for over 20 years. Constantly evolving and keeping headshots fresh and relevant. My studio has got great natural light but I also use continuous light similar to a film set or stage. I also use large Profoto soft boxes and beauty dishes. Everyone is different and every actor who comes to the studio will spend time with me figuring out which type of light suits their complexion and colouring the best.

The brand photography brief was to show off the Scott Tallon Walker architect offices in Dublin as a fun vibrant place to work. To take candid portraits and team photographs to show the values, culture and people of STW in colour and black and white. Ideal for their brand and website. To show off their bright iconic offices in Dublin with their large Georgian windows. To photograph a board meeting and other office meetings around the building. Showing off the camaraderie and authentic shared moments of working at Scott Tallon Walker.

The Convention Centre Dublin is Ireland’s leading conference and event centre. Based in the docklands of Dublin this convention, conference and event centre really is in the heart of Dublin. A great place for your delegates to enjoy everything Dublin, Ireland has to offer. I have been lucky enough to be the official photographer and videographer at many an international conference and event in the CCD. Conference and event photography at the CCD is so enjoyable.

As a professional conference photographer in Dublin I get asked to some really amazing events. I get to hear some amazing and inspiring speakers share their findings. Often the work they do is not juts to benefit their own company but to benefit mankind. One such recent conference I was asked to photograph was the 3M Impact Program which was being held in Dublin Ireland. The Impact Program asks some of the worlds best minds to turn their attention to try and solve some of the worlds biggest problems.

It was great to be asked to be part of this wonderful project by a leading design and digital marketing company in Dublin Ireland. This was an International photography and videography project. I was honoured to be asked to the commercial lifestyle photography. It was for a series of high quality commercial photographs for use across the world. The book was the hero but I had to show the book in use and all the best aspects of the books.

Something I really enjoy doing is heading into a busy office and getting some great team and portrait styled headshots. Converge Digital in Dublin city centre asked me into their offices to take a selection of different company portraits and headshots for their website. Along with some team photographs of the different management and customer teams and a group shot of the entire team. The brief was to to try and use the different backgrounds available within their new offices on Vicar St in Dublin. To show them as a company who are not working independently from home but a company who actually work together as a team at their office in Dublin.

It was such a pleasure to be asked by Micheline from The Firm who specialise in hospitality recruitment in Ireland to photograph a series of headshots and team portraits. The photography brief was to take warm and friendly headshots that showed the team at The Firm to be professional but friendly at the same time. They also required some team shots that showed their personalities. Being a hospitality recruitment firm in Dublin Ireland it was really important that the photographs made Micheline, Linda and Peggy look approachable and trustworthy. All the photographs were taken in my studio in Greystones.
