ISAG 2017 Animal Genetics Conference in UCD. Photography by Roger Kenny

I have been a photographer pretty much all my adult life and regularly attend photography conferences and seminars. They are a great way to learn new things and get ideas for future trends and meet with like minded people. So although this was an Animal Genetics Conference I really appreciate how much these events and conferences are to the people who attend from around the world. That is why I always make sure as a photographer to try and capture the attendees enthusiasm for the conference as well as all the networking and side events that go on. I was booked for this conference to photograph the Gala dinner in the O Reilly Hall and a little flavour of the first day.
