Dublin Brand Photography Brown Sugar

Back in January 2019 I was contacted by Creative Head the leading magazine in the UK and Ireland for hairdressing professionals. They wanted me to take the editorial brand photography of Mark O’Keefe’s salons Sugar Cubed and Brown Sugar in Dublin. I have to say I admire Mark so much. The salons and hair culture he has created in Dublin really stand out. When we walked through his salon you could really feel the warmth and affection his clients and his co-workers have for him. The brief of the shoot was to take a few portraits of Mark working in his salon. In particular at Sugar Cubed showing it as a n alternative and more cutting edge salon where style and colour creativity where at the fore. This sort of brand identity photography is something I love doing. Working with corporate clients to create their brand through creative photography is what I love doing as a photographer. Then to get them in such a large and prestigious magazine as Creative Head was just a win for everyone and well worth the investment.
