This was such a strange year for actor headshots. Stop start is the only way to describe it. I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who did come to the studio in Greystones for their headshots. Actors, models, dancers, fitness instructors, directors, designers, they all came and hopefully got the best headshot! I always try to give my clients something unique to them. Not every lighting set up or backdrop works. We all have different skin tones and eye colours. Some actors are looking for something theatrical or maybe for film. Others are looking for something a little more musical theatre or for a more commercial portfolio. Some want the bare minimum with a very open and no make up or retouching look. Others want all the make up and retouching they can get! There is no right or wrong there is just the headshot that gets you seen by the casting director or opens doors with an agent.
